About Dystopia One
Dystopia One is a turn-based, tile-by-tile roguelike set in a future where civilisation lives in towers. This is one of them — the Tower: 1,024 floors of offices and everything else a city needs, stacked, owned by a corporation nobody has seen in a generation and run by whatever is left of its security, its tenants and its machines. The lobby is the only place anyone agrees is safe; the roof is a rumour. A world is 1,024 floors of 8 × 8 squares, each a 128 × 128 level generated from a seed, so every player climbs the same Tower and only what players change is stored. It runs on the rules of the 3.5 System Reference Document — classes, skills, feats, spells, monsters and saving throws — with energy weapons, drones and the Tower's own security laid on in the spirit of the d20 Future rules, and traders, businesses, quests, gathering, crafting and survival built on top of it all.
